Castelló town council has organised a number of events in Castelló to mark this year’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women including:
Friday 24th, at 20:30 in the Sala Gótica (Gothic Room), lecture given by Dr. Carme Timoneda, psychologist, Doctor of Education, and president of the Carme Vidal Xifré Foundation.
Saturday 25th, at 12:00 a rally and reading of the manifesto for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, with a performance by the Paller Inkiet group of the dance “Mujeres Mujeres” (Women Women) Gesture of Solidarity (we will plant rosemary in the flower pots in Joan Alsina square).
And at 17:00 a children’s show (Universal Children’s Day) by the “Circo Cristo” will be held in the Sala Municipal (Municipal Hall).
The exhibition “A Topical Story, Anne Frank” will also be held until 17th December in the Lonja Comunal (Old Town Marketplace).
